i decorated my room today. it feels very much better. it is so important for me to have my own space to make my own. i went to goodwill. i got a mounted butterfly in a glass case, much like the one phyllis & i stole from that party house a while ago, but bigger. WE WERE VERY DRUNK, OKAY. i also got a rug that is the same color as the cookie monster. i need a floor lamp SO bad, the lighting in my room at night is quite insufficient. but i’ll not settle for hideous things. good things only. so it will be a slow process, but eventually i’ll be quite proud.
i’m really happy here. every once in a while i think about oregon and realize that i’m not going back any time soon and it gives me shivers. i don’t like the shivers. i want everyone to be here and as happy and fulfilled and expectant of GOODFUTURE as i am.
